Tracking & Controlling Clerk

Job Purpose:
Monitors the movement and performance of the fleet in real time to ensure route compliance, safety, and delivery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor fleet using tracking systems (e.g., Ctrack, Mix Telematics).
  • Report route deviations, delays, or breakdowns to relevant departments.
  • Generate daily tracking reports and performance logs.
  • Assist in route planning and fuel usage analysis.
  • Support operations team with vehicle location data.
  • Escalate any suspicious or non-compliant driver behavior.

Requirements:

  • Matric; logistics or fleet management qualification advantageous.
  • Experience with fleet tracking systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work shifts and weekends if required.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
